EXPERIENCE
PORTFOLIO

Photos & flyers from past events that I have coordinated including TEDxBerkleeValencia, hotel events & site visits, and concerts featuring Imagine Dragons, Matt Nathanson, and a few more.

While earning a  BBA in Business Administration and Theology & Religious Studies from University of San Diego, I was on the executive board of the campus programming board. The events that I programmed include:

  • Homecoming Concert feat. Imagine Dragons

  • Spring Concert at the HOB San Diego feat. Matt Nathanson & Boyce Avenue

  • First Annual Battle of the Bands

  • Inaugural Tailgate for opening of the baseball stadium, Fowler Park

Upon graduation, I began working in the hospitality industry in sales, catering, and events, working my way up to managerial level in just over a year.

As a sales representative at the Hilton Hotels in San Diego, my job was to create unforgettable site visits for our potential clients which included coordinating food & beverage, room set-up, and audio/visual production in order to transform a space.

My position as a Catering Sales & Event Manager at Hotel La Jolla, required sales and negotiation skills as well as thorough knowledge of event operations and ability to lead a team of banquet servers in conjunction with the kitchen staff.

WHAT I'VE DONE

I have recently graduated with a Masters degree in Global Entertainment & Music Business at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. While living in Spain, I worked on TEDxBerkleeValencia, organized international concerts, taken courses specifically geared towards the music industry, and have traveled throughout Europe.

As my Culminating Experience (thesis project), I was the artistic direction coordinator for TEDxBerkleeValencia. This job entailed curating the whole program by choosing speakers, performers, the venue, and providing direction to the marketing & production teams. Over 9 months, I interviewed, coached, and was the main liaison for our speakers, who included Mike Muse, Tatiana Simonian, and Adam Melonas. Additionally, I was the "day-of" event coordinator and one of the MCs for this sold out show of about 500 people.

My passions and skill sets lie in programming and coordinating large events and concerts. I am highly organized, easy to work with, and creative but most importantly, I love putting on events. What I do best is design unique and authentic event experiences by curating a space, acts, and food & beverage that all create a perfect ambiance for guests.

WHAT I DO

About

I am a Southern California Girl with a lot of spirit, a big smile, and a passion for bringing people together through events. For me, there is no better feeling in the world than creating a space where a group of diverse people can enjoy music, food, drinks, and conversations together.

Like Nietzsche, I believe "life without music would be a mistake" and love listening to music loud and often. I am frequently heard saying "I was listening to this podcast the other day" and can easily be found working out in a hot yoga class, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, tasting the newest craft brew, or traveling to foreign countries with my big orange backpack.
